You can trek through the jungle at Chiang Mai and even be a Mahout for the day and look after a elephant and take it to the river to bath it . As for the weather it will be about the same as the UK SUMMER but can get cold at night so summer clothes and a light coat and sweater come to asia and enjoy your self but do some Research on the net as no one can answer all you ask
